Commonly asked questions

1.    What if I don't like the item I've received?  
We offer a no-quibble guarantee on returned items, providing you return them within 28 days of order date, in original condition and in the original packaging. Simply let us know whether you'd like a replacement or a refund.  Please note that all returns and exchanges must be agreed in advance with a member of our team, by contacting us first at   info@BrollySheets.com to let us know you intend to return the item.  See our full returns policy above.  
 
2.    What if I have changed my mind or made an error with my order
If you find you have ordered the wrong size or would like to change the colours in your order, we will make a change where possible if you have notified us prior to shipping.  (Our orders are packed by our warehouse normally within 6 hours of receiving them).

If your order has been shipped, we will happily exchange your order or refund your purchase for unused items within 28 days of receipt if returned undamaged in their original packaging to us in Auckland, New Zealand. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable and you would be required to pay a new delivery charge to get the new stock delivered to you.  Please see our returns policy above.

3.     What if I've been sent the wrong item?  
In the unlikely event that this occurs, please email us at info@BrollySheets.com  or phone us within 28 days of receipt to arrange return and replacement delivery.

4.    What if I haven’t received my order within 2 weeks of order date?
If for some reason your order has not arrived, please contact us for a trace. If you have not notified us within 28 days of your order date, we can not offer any compensation or replacement stock.

5.    Complaints Procedure
We aim to satisfy the requirements of all of our customers as efficiently as we can, but we realise that at times things may go wrong. When they do we will put them right as soon as possible. If you have a complaint please email our Director, Diane Hurford   diane@brollysheets.com . Your complaint will be handled confidentially and we will acknowledge your correspondence within 5 working days. At that time we will advise you how long it will take to resolve your complaint and we will give you a contact name and telephone number of the person handling your complaint. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

6.    What is your Privacy Policy?  
At Brolly sheets we do not collect or store any credit card information. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage to enter your payment details via a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This method ensures that the information submitted is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorized users.

Brolly Sheets will not share your personal information with any other third party. We will never disclose your email address or any other personal information to any third party.

Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk.
 
7.    Can I pay in another currency?  
Yes, there is a currency selection box at the top of the web page.  You must select the currency of the country where delivery is to.  That is, if delivery is to Australia, you must pay in Australia dollars, if delivery is to the US, you must pay in US dollars.  If delivery is to Europe you must pay in Euros and if delivery is anywhere else in the world, you must pay in USD.    Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Brolly Sheets LTD will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges.

Guarantee

Brolly Sheets are confident that you will be satisfied with the quality of our products.

We will be happy to meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if our products have been wrongly described, develop a fault or are unusable for the purpose described.

We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery.

Returns and exchanges

Returning unsuitable items:
Unused, unworn items in original condition (including original packaging) may be returned for exchange or refund within 28 days of receipt. If you are not 100% satisfied with the items you have ordered, please and let us know the reasons for your dissatisfaction. If you return your order to us within 28 days of receipt, unused, with the goods undamaged and in their original packaging, we will be happy to offer a full refund of the purchase price or exchange the goods for another item.    

Please Note:

• We do not refund your freight costs.
• We will only accept goods returned with prior notification.
• We cannot accept any goods that have been worn, used, have their labels removed, altered or damaged.
• We only accept items returned if they are within their original packaging.
• We do not accept back change of mind returns where the item has been used.

Returning faulty items:
Very occasionally a product may develop a manufacturers fault, and we will do everything we can to resolve this situation to your satisfaction.  We will happily meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if our products have been wrongly described, develop a fault or are not fit for the purpose described.  Please contact us at the above email / phone numbers and let us know what the fault is.

• We will refund your freight costs
• We will only accept goods returned with prior notification
• Your return must be within 12 months of the purchase date.

Exchanges:
We know sometimes our customers order the wrong colour or size.  If this has happened, please contact us.  The sooner you advise us, the easier it is to change the order.  Our orders are normally handled and shipped in the mornings, and hopefully we can change your order before it has been shipped.  If it has been shipped, then you will need to return the wrong stock to us at your cost and we will resend out your order.  We may need to collect additional monies off you for an upgrade in size and can discuss this with you.  If you return a product to us we will not refund the actual cost of delivering the product to you as we will have incurred it. If we return the product on your behalf, we will charge you the actual cost of us doing this. We do not seek to make money out of this, but we do seek to recover our incurred costs and hope you feel that this is fair.

Please Note:

• We will only accept goods returned with prior notification
• We cannot accept any goods that have been worn, used, have their labels removed, altered or damaged.
• We  only accept items returned if they are within their original packaging, and that packaging is in good condition
• Exchanges must be made within 28 days of order date
• Exchange  items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received in accordance with the returns policy.
• You will be responsible for the cost of shipping in both directions.  (That is to return the goods to us and to have the new items shipped to you)

Right to Cancel
You may cancel the contract without reason within 28 working days from the date of receipt of goods. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full (excluding postage) within 30 days of cancellation date. You will be required to return the products in question to Brolly Sheets Ltd in perfect condition, unused and in their original packaging.




8.    Delivery
•    You must purchase in the same currency as that of your destination country
•    Please allow 4 working days for all orders within New Zealand and Australia to a street address.  Delivery to a P O Box will be via NZ or Australia Post and will take up to 10 working days.
•    Please allow approx, 4 working days for all orders within the UK.  Allow approx. 8 working days for orders to Europe.    
•    Where it is not possible to deliver within these time lines we will notify you and, unless we state otherwise, ensure that your products are delivered within 28 days from acceptance
•    We are unable to redirect or change orders once items have been dispatched.
•    To check on the status of a delivery please email contact us with your order number.
•    We may, at our discretion and expense, deliver parts of your order separately.
•    All deliveries must be signed for and you will be responsible for the products as soon as they are delivered and found to be in conformity to the contract. Ownership of the products shall pass to you once we have received payment in full.
•    If we cannot deliver the products to you at the address you have specified for any reason (other than when we are at fault), we will notify you and store the products at your risk. If you wish us to redeliver the products to you, you will need to authorise us to charge your credit card/ debit card for such re-delivery. If we do not hear from you within 28 days, we will cancel the order and refund your payment to you less any reasonable delivery charges we have incurred.


9.    Pricing
The price for the goods will be as stipulated on the website at the time when you place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price with no notice to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, the imposition of any new taxes or duties or in accordance to our pricing policy.  

Prices are not inclusive of any potential Duties and Taxes according to your shipping destination


10.    Personal Details
For as long as you are registered with us we will hold some of your personal details on our computer system.

From time to time, our customer service representatives will have access to some of your personal details in order to process your purchase and/or to maintain your account. However, our staff will never have access to the whole of your credit/debit card number and you will never be asked to confirm or give out any of your card details by email. Even if you are registered with us, our system will never record any of your card details in our database other than to process your order.

11.    Keeping in Touch
If you are registered with us we may occasionally contact you with information about products which we feel are likely to be of interest to you.

These recommendations may be made as a result of information we hold about you, or may be based on recent purchases you have made on our site.

12.    Third Party Communications
You can feel confident of total security when registering your details on our site, since we will never pass your email address or any of your personal details on to any other companies.

13.    Payment and Taxes:
We take every reasonable care to ensure that your order and subsequent transactions are conducted via a secure link. As we are not responsible for the operation of the secure link we will not, unless we are negligent, be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any information you provide via such link. If products are not available for any reason after we have accepted your order, we will let you know. We will not charge you for these products and will refund any amounts already paid (if any) by way of a credit to your credit card/ debit card account.

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card. We currently accept Visa and MasterCard.

All prices quoted on this web site are accurate at the time of going to press and are quoted in the currency you choose at the top of the page.  New Zealand prices are inclusive of GST and UK prices are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 20%. Our NZ  GST number is 99 515 473 and our VAT number is 976 6585 50.
14.    Customs and Duties
Any customs or import duties levied once the packages reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict these charges.


15.    Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following terms and conditions for the sale of goods ('The Conditions') will govern all contracts for sale that we enter into with you, the Customer, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. Please read these Conditions carefully.

These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

•    We will happily treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these Conditions. You are deemed to accept the Conditions when you place an order for goods with us. The email response sent to you to acknowledge receipt of your order does not constitute acceptance of it. Your offer is accepted and our contract begins with you, our valued customer, when the goods are dispatched.
•     Your order for goods is subject to availability. If we are unable to supply goods to you for any reason we will try to inform you of the situation and refund any monies paid. If your goods are not available for more than 28 days we will endeavour to contact you and offer you a refund. If, however, you have not received your goods after 28 days and we have not contacted you, please contact customer services department.


 
16.    Terms & Conditions of Competitions
 In deciding the winner for any competition run by Brolly Sheets our decision is final.  Brolly Sheets Ltd reserves the right to expel anyone from the competition for not adhering to the conditions.  Prizes will be delivered up to four weeks after the competition has closed for more information please contact info@brollysheets.com . By entering a competition online, you accept the terms and conditions outlined here and within the community guidelines.

You agree that in no event will our liability arising out of or in respect of these terms and conditions exceed NZD $1,000 or £UK 1,000 and that in no event will we be liable for any loss of profits, goodwill, loss of business, loss of data or any other indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever, whether or not arising from any negligence on our part.

We may use our web site or any of the services we provide or in any of the correspondence we send to you to run advertisements promoting products and services we offer or any of its subsidiaries, or any person or corporation duly authorised by us to advertise or promote their product or services through us.

We may provide or third parties may provide links or other web sites or resources. These are provided purely as a matter of convenience and we do not endorse the contents of those web sites. We are not responsible for the availability of these web sites, nor will we be liable in any way for any loss or damage which you may suffer by using those web sites. If you decide to access linked third party web sites you do so at your own risk.

20.    Disclaimer of Warranties: You agree that:
20.1: your use of the web site and our services is at your sole risk. The web site and services are provided on an as is and as available basis. 28.     Acceptance of order:
We will notify you of our acceptance of your offer to purchase by email shortly after we receive it and at that point a binding agreement between us will be in place on these terms and conditions*. If we do not accept your order for any reason or the price of the product has increased between the time of the order and our acceptance of it (or if a supplementary delivery charge applies), we will email you to advise you of the change. You will then need to resubmit your order.

*but subject to our right to withdraw such acceptance where your offer relates to goods that have been priced below that which we intended.
