A first!!!  This protector has waterproof sides.  The outer is a soft cotton so you can sleep on it as a sheet or you can use it as a mattress protector and put your normal linen on top.  

These are not as “robust” as our quilted protectors – but are unique with their waterproof sides which makes them ideal for those who may sit on the edge of the bed before getting up and wetting the side of the mattress.  
 
If you have someone who is wetting on a regular basis, we recommend you use this product under your “normal” cotton sheet as a mattress protector, and use a Brolly sheet on top. This is so you are only washing this product on the occasions when the side of the mattress is wet, not every day. 

It is not as “robust” as a Brolly Sheet and even though it is designed to be washed and dried repeatedly, if you were to wash and dry it several times a week it would soon start wear.
